Rest & Relax

“Rest & Relax” is an exhibition of contemporary seats designed by Singaporean designers. Each of these works provides a sensation of “rest”, either through visual form, physical tactility or conceptual intention.

The exhibition scenography merges the concept of a ceremonious waiting lounge and the presentation of local designer seats. Visitors would be able to partake in the survey of the exhibits, and at the same time rest on luxury bean bag sofas provided by ambient lounge (UK) while in transit.

The exhibition was developed for Changi Airport, held at Terminal 2. Level 3 Transit Lounge, from 13th July till 12th Sept 2010. It attracted a total of 51,555 passengers to the level 3 exhibition zone during the 3 month period.
