Herons on Vase

A terracotta series commissioned by the National Gallery Singapore in an edition of 5. Inspired by Chen Wen Hsi’s masterpiece Herons (1990), the abstract forms of the birds have been translated into repeatable patterns and sand blasted on the vase using the resist blasting technique.
